Introduction

Hello everyone!

This blog belongs to the Springfield Convent choir and marimba girls touring Europe for the third time!

We are a group of high school students travelling from Cape Town, South Africa, to some beautiful cities in Europe. We have practised for almost a year, learning songs in English, Afrikaans, Xhosa, Latin and French.

We have two set lists prepared for our European audiences: a Sacred Music Set and a Secular Music set, which is accompanied by the very talented Marimba players who evoke unique ethnicity of African culture.

To view our music sets, click here.

We are travelling from Cape Town, South Africa on Saturday the 12th of April to:
13 April - Venice, Italy
15 April - Ljubljana, Slovenia
16 April - Maribor, Slovenia
17 April - Budapest, Hungary
18 April - Bratislava, Slovakia
19 April - Salzburg, Austria
22 April - Back home to Cape Town, South Africa
